Luna is a 2008 registered Danish Warmblood mare that was purchased from her breeder, Oak Hill Ranch in 2009. Luna is by the imported Danish stallion Willemoes (deceased), out of the Danish mare, Lakota (by Rambo). Luna's bloodlines represent some of the best Danish Warmblood talent in both dressage and over fences that is available in the United States.
Luna was started as a 2-3 yr old but her size (nearly 17h at age three) and development indicated to Heather that she would benefit from an extra year to mature. In the summer of 2013, Luna began training for the Jumper ring.
