Springstone's Highland Reign is a 2008 registered American Thoroughbred who retired sound from racing in fall 2011 after 8 starts. "Highland" as he is known around the barn has an "in your pocket" personality, eager-to-learn attitude and is brave to the fences. Highland was in training for the jumpers with Alejo Maddalena for the majority of 2012. He shows plenty of aptitude over fences as well as a willingness to learn in dressage. Heather believes Highland demonstrates the skills and bravery to be a successful event horse and his training will focus him towards eventing in 2013.
