Cor De La Bryere - A deeper look at the offspring of this sire of sires.

Learning the role of bloodlines has become critical for me since embarking on buying young warmbloods to train and develop as part of the program at Springstone Equestrian. Cor de la Bryere is one of the first sire of sires that you learn about in the production of  the modern sport horse, especially in jumpers. But Cor de la Bryere had so many successful sons, I often find it challenging to keep up with what current sires go back to which son. So, I decided to take the top 15 and put together the distinctive characteristics and photos to help keep them all straight.

Cor de la Bryere Offspring

Cor de la Bryere had 85 approved sons, known for passing on excellent bascule, quick front legs, ridability and floating, highly balanced canter. He added elegance to the raw jumping talent of the Holsteiner breed. He occurs in more than 70% of all Holsteiner pedigrees. Also very influential in the Oldenburg breed. Below are 15 of the most well-known sons and their significant offspring.
