The Vicar is a 2007 registered American Thoroughbred (reg. as Vicar Moonie Rys) who retired sound from racing in fall 2011 after 12 starts. Vicar is a powerhouse in a compact package. He has natural swing and rhythm for dressage as well as a powerful jump. His training in 2012 focused on developing his confidence over fences and maintaining rhythm. His workmanlike attitude in dressage has made him a quick study. He was expected to begin eventing in Fall of 2012 but has been sidelined by a nasty hoof crack that has been difficult to repair. Hopefully he will make his eventing debut in the Spring of 2013.
